MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

Parties

This agreement is concluded electronically between TURKSALT and the user who accesses www.turksalt.com, for the purpose of the user becoming a member of the website.

Terms of Use

turksalt.com is open to all members. Unless otherwise stated, the services provided on the website are free of charge. In the circumstances stated below, turksalt.com may prevent a member from using the website and accessing its content and reserves its legal rights against the person or persons involved in the following actions:

• Recording on the website incomplete, incorrect, irregular or misleading information, statements contrary to generally accepted moral standards, or information contrary to the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
• Copying all or part of the works and content on the website and using or attempting to use them for different purposes.
• Using or attempting to use software or carrying out activities that threaten the security of the website, prevent the website or the software used on it from operating, or obtaining, deleting or modifying information.

The user is directly responsible for any damage arising from sharing information such as passwords provided to users or determined by them, or their rights of use, with third persons or organizations and from the use of such information by persons other than the user. Likewise, the user may not use personal information belonging to another person on the internet, such as an IP address or email address. Responsibilities

After completing the sections required for registration and confirming the email address, a turksalt.com user may begin using turksalt.com by entering the email address and password, provided that the user complies with the terms set out in this agreement.

When benefiting from the turksalt.com website and services, the user agrees to comply with the Turkish Penal Code, Turkish Commercial Code, Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works, decree-laws and legal regulations concerning the protection of trademark and patent rights, the Code of Obligations, other relevant legislation, and all announcements and notifications that turksalt.com may publish regarding its services. Any legal, criminal and financial liability arising from use contrary to such notifications and laws belongs to the user.

Information relating to users visiting turksalt.com, such as frequency and times of visits, is monitored in order to provide them with better service. Subject to confidentiality conditions, this information is shared with companies with which cooperation is carried out on matters such as advertising, for the purpose of expanding and improving the content. The purpose is to improve the service offered by the website to its users and to enrich the content provided by turksalt.com.

The user may not engage in actions that make it difficult or impossible for other users and visitors to use turksalt.com, may not overload or lock servers or databases by installing automated programs, and may not attempt fraud. If the user does so, the user accepts that membership will be cancelled and accepts all legal and criminal liability that may arise from the situation.

The user may not remove or delete Copyright, Trademark or any notices within the scope of the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works from any material copied from turksalt.com or printed using a printer.

Relationships between website users themselves or with third parties are the responsibility of the persons concerned.

Membership cancellation and account deletion may be carried out by the user through turksalt.com. The website login authorization of a user who terminates membership will also be cancelled.

turksalt.com has the right to decide whether or not to delete any records relating to a user account terminated by the user. The user may not claim any right or compensation regarding deleted records.

Subject to the terms of use, privacy principles and applicable legal regulations, turksalt.com reserves the right to use all information connected with your user account in relation to its own marketing activities.

The user accepts that, from the moment the service begins to be used, all provisions of this participation agreement will be deemed accepted and that the agreement will be binding upon the user. The user agrees to compensate turksalt.com in full for any damage suffered by turksalt.com due to the user's breach of the obligations undertaken under this agreement. turksalt.com has the right of full recourse against the user for any compensation and/or administrative or judicial fines that turksalt.com may be required to pay to public institutions and/or third parties due to the user's conduct contrary to the agreement.

Rights and Obligations of turksalt.com

turksalt.com agrees and undertakes that, except for technical failures, the user will be able to benefit from the services covered by the agreement, and that information other than personal information made available for sharing by the user will not be shared with third persons or organizations except where legally required. If it is determined that the user has caused electronic sabotage, attempts to interfere with gains and/or an attack that prevents operation of the turksalt.com website, or if an official authority submits a criminal complaint or official investigation request concerning a member, turksalt.com has the right to investigate and disclose the identity information of the relevant member.

In order to ensure continuity of the services it undertakes to provide, turksalt.com may make unilateral changes to this agreement without notice. turksalt.com has the right at any time, without providing any reason, to permanently or temporarily suspend the service it provides, change the content of the service, or cancel it unilaterally. The user accepts this right. In the event of any change, turksalt.com will publish the current terms of use on its website under the same link with a new update date and, if it deems necessary, will notify users by email. The renewed current terms of use will become effective from the moment they are published on turksalt.com, and use of the turksalt.com website or services from that moment onward will be subject to the renewed terms of use.

The membership of a member who has submitted materials to turksalt.com contrary to the provisions of this agreement may be terminated unilaterally by turksalt.com without notice.

Entry into Force of the Agreement

The user is deemed to have undertaken to comply with the turksalt.com agreement from the moment the user completes and approves the registration form, receives any service using this system, or places an order. The agreement will automatically cease to have effect without the need for any warning upon termination of membership or occurrence of any of the termination circumstances listed in this agreement.

Notification Addresses

The turksalt.com website does not request postal addresses in advance from users who become members of the website. However, the email address notified by the user to turksalt.com is accepted as the email address from which the legal address for any notification concerning this agreement will be requested.

The parties agree that unless changes to their existing email addresses are notified to the other party in writing within 3 (three) days, communications sent to the former email addresses will be valid and deemed to have been made to them.

Any notification made by turksalt.com using the user's registered email address will be deemed to have reached the user 1 (one) day after the email is sent by turksalt.com.

The user declares, accepts and undertakes that the user has read, understood and accepted all provisions contained in this participation agreement and confirms the accuracy of the information provided about the user.

You may easily unsubscribe from the email mailing list by clicking the link “If you do not wish to be informed about campaign announcements, please click here.” at the bottom of emails sent by turksalt.com, or by revising your selection for “I would like to receive notifications by email.” in the “Personal Information” section on the website.

The user accepts that information shared by the user may be classified and stored in a database and that the company may use the user's usage and transaction information for the period required for performance evaluations, marketing campaigns of the company and its business partners, annual reports and similar activities, provided that the necessary security measures are taken; that such information may be transferred to infrastructure providers and third parties from whom services are obtained solely for the purposes stated in the agreement; and that it may be stored and processed by such persons in data centers located in Türkiye or abroad.
