For repeat salt sourcing, a commercial contract may not be enough to define technical expectations. A supplier quality agreement or controlled specification set can reduce ambiguity across recurring orders.

Attach the approved product specification

Granulation, physical characteristics, packaging, acceptance criteria and relevant analytical parameters should be controlled by revision.

Define COA and lot rules

Specify when a COA is required, how a lot is defined and when documents must be sent.

Establish change notification

The agreement can define how material changes to source, process, packaging or production location are communicated.

Define nonconformity handling

Complaint notification, retained samples, root-cause review and corrective-action workflow are easier when agreed before an issue occurs.
