Terminal handling, delivery order, documentation, port services and local agency charges can appear separately.

Understand free time

Container-use and terminal-storage charges can escalate when clearance is delayed. Confirm the applicable free-time terms before booking.

Add customs and inland delivery

Duties/taxes, brokerage, inspection, port-to-warehouse transfer and final-mile delivery belong in the landed-cost model.

Normalize quotations to one delivery point

Instead of comparing FOB, CFR, CIF and DAP prices directly, convert them to the same cost point.
