How to Write a Salt Packaging Specification

A product can meet its chemical and physical specification while still failing commercially because of weak packaging. Export and private-label orders benefit from a controlled packaging specification.
Define packaging materials
Record material structure, number of layers, barrier expectations and any inner liner requirement.
Clarify fill weight and tolerances
Define nominal pack weight and confirm applicable legal or commercial tolerances for the destination market.
Control sealing and closure
Sewing, heat sealing or other closure performance can affect leakage and product protection in transit.
Include carton and pallet configuration
Units per carton, cartons/bags per pallet, maximum height and stretch-wrapping method should be part of the logistics specification.
