One of the most common delays in private-label salt projects occurs when product is ready but label or artwork approval is not complete. Artwork should be managed as a separate milestone from technical product approval.

Define mandatory label fields by market

Product name, net quantity, responsible operator details, lot/date fields and other declarations should be checked by the buyer against destination-market rules.

Freeze barcode and SKU data

GTIN/barcode, item code, pack weight and case count should be fixed in one approved document before printing.

Use artwork version control

File name, revision number and approval date reduce the risk of an obsolete design being printed.

Compare production packs with the approval sample

Print, seal, net weight and case configuration should be checked against the approved reference at first production.
