Define the physical format first

The RFQ should state whether the buyer needs blocks, pieces or another format, together with target unit weight and dimensional tolerances where relevant. Photos or an existing product sample can help align expectations.

Clarify composition and intended use

Packaging strength matters

For heavy blocks or rock pieces, carton, shrink wrap, pallet and transport durability are as important as the immediate product package. Long-distance export planning should consider breakage, movement and moisture exposure.

Sample and commercial approval

Block dimensions, appearance, strength and package presentation should match the buyer’s distribution model. A physical sample or written specification can be used for pre-order approval.
